Picasa - what a wonderful program

I have just downloaded Picasa - a photo management program - and played with it for a while. What a great program! It is versatile and easy to use. Above all, it is free! Try it!

    Isn't it a shareware? I thought only its sister "Hello" is free.

    May be it was shareware before, but it is definitely a freeware now. Could this be a result of Picasa having just been acquired by Google?
