隨著廉價航空的普及，歐洲居民基本上可以不用請假，只利用週末逐一遊遍區內各大城市。101 Weekends in Europe就是這樣的一本指南書。
Paul Davies喜歡以淺白手法講解科學大題目。繼The Mind of God後，Davies的另一宇宙學力作-Cosmic Jackpot-探討的是，因何我們的宇宙似乎特別適合生命的存在？是神的創造？還是巧合？還是說，有所謂multiverse（多宇宙）的存在，我們的這一個恰好符合生命發展的條件？
雖說Paul Davies寫作擅長深入淺出，但對我這種科學底子薄弱的讀者而言，這本“大”書還是過分深入，不夠淺出，難以讀完或讀懂。相對而言，The Why Files可算是非常淺出的科學普及讀物，旨在解釋新聞背後的科學知識。The Why Files強調以趣味為主，但我作為讀者覺得其實頗為乏味。

Excuse me for dying
電腦好端端的中風倒地，經我用最後一招震蕩治療（種種起死回生術通通失敗後，我真的拿電腦大力拍打）後，竟然蘇醒過來。可惜，自此它總會在毫無預警下自我關機。雖生猶死。

不玩電腦，時間多著，終日聽Leonard Cohen，尤其他的Live in London。他一再拿年紀來開玩笑，例如提到他百歲過外的老師在97歲時跟他說：Excuse me for not dying。
幸好他還在，幸好他七十多歲高齡還能唱能跑，否則那有Live in London？MJ的歌迷，等不到他的Live in London，傷心欲絕。我作為LC歌迷，能聽到他的Live in London，得知他的World Tour 09年繼續上路，從年頭唱到年尾，絕對興奮。

不玩電腦，時間多著，終日聽Leonard Cohen，尤其他的Live in London。他一再拿年紀來開玩笑，例如提到他百歲過外的老師在97歲時跟他說：Excuse me for not dying。
幸好他還在，幸好他七十多歲高齡還能唱能跑，否則那有Live in London？MJ的歌迷，等不到他的Live in London，傷心欲絕。我作為LC歌迷，能聽到他的Live in London，得知他的World Tour 09年繼續上路，從年頭唱到年尾，絕對興奮。
