It used to be the case that unless you bought a fair number of books in a single order, The Book Depository UK (and its US counterpart) would be a cheaper option for Australian customers than either Amazon US or UK.
With free delivery from Amazon UK, this may not be the case any more. I just ran a few trial purchases using Booko.com.au and the results were heavily in favour of Amazon UK, provided the order was worth over £25.
If you are unhappy with the exorbitantly high CD/DVD prices in Australia but find the savings from overseas purchases only marginal once delivery cost is included, this free delivery offer could be heaven sent.

Owners move to salvage Borders, Angus & Robertson (Brisbane Times, 11-2-18)
Australians' blossoming love affair with online shopping is catching up with the old world of traditional bookselling, with Borders and 125-year old chain Angus & Robertson placed into voluntary administration last night.
But the stores are still expected to open as normal today and gift vouchers will be honoured.
The failure of the group, which also owns New Zealand's Whitcoulls books and stationery stores, puts in doubt more than 2500 jobs, mainly in Australia, and will rattle the confidence of other bookshop owners.
Angus & Robertson has 103 stores affected by the move to voluntary administration, although a further 61 franchises will not be affected.
There are also 26 Borders stores in Australia, nearly half of which are in Victoria, at Camberwell, Carlton, Chadstone, Doncaster, Geelong, Highpoint, Knox, Melbourne Central, South Wharf and South Yarra.
Double trouble for holders of Borders' gift vouchers (Brisbane Times, 11-2-18)
Borders and Angus & Robertson customers left holding gift certificates after the bookseller fell into voluntary administration are being told they must spend double the amount of each voucher in order to redeem the card.
The booksellers have instructed staff to require customers spend double the total value of the certificates, just a day after insiders at the company told BusinessDay that the vouchers would likely to be honoured pending the administrators Ferrier Hodgson's final decision.
