On this day last year, I said goodbye to my colleagues, some of whom have worked with me for over 7 years, and started the "post-career" phase of my life.
A few days days later, I shall be celebrating my 43rd birthday. That day, coincidentally, also marks the end of my first 6 months living in Brisbane.
