100 Years of Perm

Thanks to Deutsche Welle, I now know that it was a German, Karl Nessler, who invented the perm hairstyle in 1906.

And who wouldn't want to know that, incidentally, the German Paul Breitner "was the first perm wearer to score in a World Cup final"!
