Calderon has won the election. Or has he?

Which Calderon are you talking about?

Over the weekend, two Calderons were engaged in tight elections.

Felipe Calderon has a paper-thin lead over his opponent in the Mexican presidential election, so a Florida 2000-style vote-counting may be needed.

Ramon Calderon seems to be more lucky. Despite the controversy on postal votes, Real Madrid, the biggest football club in the world (a persistent under-achiever though), has declared him the new President. However, the court may still rule that votes received by post should be counted. Sit tight, Ramon.

"Felipe Calderon vows to deliver promises". So does Ramon Calderon. Not having followed the Mexican race, I have little idea what Felipe promised the voters. But I do know that Ramon promises the club members he will follow the club tradition of buying big and winning nothing.
