"Jenny sings Lenny", aka "Famous Blue Raincoat - The Songs of Leonard Cohen" by Jennifer Warnes, has just been reissued as a 20th Anniversary Edition, with 4 bonus tracks added in.


I am a big fan of Leonard Cohen. But I came to know his music rather late. In fact, I am grateful to Jenny for introducing me to Lenny.

When the album first came out in 1987, it was highly recommended by many leading music critics. I knew who Jennifer Warnes was, but I had never heard of Leonard Cohen. I thought I should give that album a try. The rest was history.

Now that I listen to the man himself, I revisit this CD only once in a while. Still, "Jenny sings Lenny" always has a special place in my heart, for introducing me to the music world of Leonard Cohen.
