企業牛屎(Corporate bullshit)一例

一份澳洲地區報報導,居民非常不滿Cadbury在朱古力塊內加入植物脂肪,並將每包的重量降低。

據Cadbury的Corporate Communication Manager(這職位,中文可譯作企業對外大話王或牛屎精)說,加入小量植物脂肪,令朱古力塊較軟較易咬,但味道跟從前一樣棒。

我不吃Cadbury,對加入植物脂肪是好是壞,無法評論。從陰謀論角度看,較軟較易咬,自然吃得更快,買得更多。

不過,這位天才牛屎精對降低每包的重量(我想,居民不滿是因為價格不變吧)的辯護簡直令人嘆為觀止。他說,改動後,雖然整塊朱古力較以前小,但每小方塊較以前寬,根據研究,“the change in chocolate square shape may provide some consumers with a different taste to the one they are used to because the new wider chocolate squares provide a more even distribution of chocolate taste throughout the mouth. The smaller squares from the former block tended to concentrate the delivery of the chocolate to a smaller area of the mouth.” 即是說,從前的塊頭小,放進口,只能在裏面某區域產生朱古力口感。較寬的就不同了,令你滿嘴都是朱古力味,更勝從前。

此君真是滿嘴牛屎!

  1. You know what, in our organisation, we have 2 depts taking care of similar issues. Not sure how they would respond to your comment. The reply by the Corp Com guy in Cadbury is really ... I totally agree with you, 嘆為觀止. I like chocolate too, also prefer dark chocolate, but not 亁牛屎. Haha.

  2. Seems to me that the Germans like to east dark and hard chocolate too.

    Maybe most people like to eat chocolate that melts readily in one's mouth. Not me.

    Adding vegetable fat to a chocolate bar is somewhat equivalent to turning it from a butter-ish snack into a margarine-ish one, isn't it?

    As for bullshitting, well, it is not a sin really and we all need to earn a living. There are far more morally questionable jobs than being a bullshit generator.

  3. I like choco that melts smoothly in mouth. I once had a cup of hot chocolate in Belgium's Pierre Marcolini, and oh...that's the most satisfying and soul-soothing experience I've ever had.

  4. ha, then we have almost the opposite preferences for chocolate! of all the food items that belgium is famous for, the one that i wouldn't care less is their chocolate.
